Virtual care leader recognized with "Very High" performance indicator in inaugural global ranking

CHICAGO, September 18, 2025 — First Stop Health, a connected, whole-person virtual care company, today announced it has been named to TIME's inaugural World's Top HealthTech Companies of 2025 list. First Stop Health received a "Very High" performance indicator, recognizing the company's impact in delivering affordable, accessible virtual healthcare to employers and their employees nationwide.

The World's Top HealthTech Companies 2025 ranking, developed by TIME in partnership with Statista, spotlights organizations making the most meaningful impact in advancing health through technology. Companies were evaluated using three primary metrics: Financial Performance, Reputation Analysis, and Digital Engagement.

“Being named one of TIME's World's Top HealthTech Companies is incredibly validating for our team,” said Teira Gunlock, CEO of First Stop Health. “This recognition reflects years of listening to what employers and employees actually need from their healthcare, then building affordable, effective, and engaging virtual solutions that deliver on that.”

First Stop Health provides 24/7 virtual care through app, website, or phone in all 50 states. Recently, the company was also named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies for the eighth consecutive year. Only 0.943% of all-time Inc. 5000 honorees achieve this coveted recognition eight times.
