CHICAGO, June 2, 2026First Stop Health, a connected, whole-person virtual care platform, has been named to Inc. Magazine's annual list of 2026 Best Workplaces for the fifth year in a row. This recognition underscores the company's continued commitment to maintaining an exceptional workplace culture that prioritizes a positive and rewarding experience for employees.

"You can't deliver care that people love without first building a workplace that people love,” said Teira Gunlock, CEO of First Stop Health. “Five consecutive years on Inc.'s Best Workplaces list is a reflection of the extraordinary team we've built of people who show up for each other so that we can make healthcare better for the employees and employers who count on us."

This year's list is the result of comprehensive measurement and evaluation of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company cultures—whether in-person or remote. The award process involved a detailed employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, covering critical elements such as management effectiveness, perks, professional development, and overall company culture. Each company's benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking. First Stop Health is honored to be included among the 500+ companies recognized this year.

Employees of First Stop Health shared their perspectives on the company’s culture in the Inc. Best Workplaces Survey, highlighting First Stop’s collaborative, mission-driven environment.

  • I truly appreciate that my manager actively seeks out and values my input when discussing upcoming changes. Being included in these conversations makes me feel respected and confident that my perspective matters. I’m also grateful for our PTO policy, which allows me to take time off when needed without feeling like I’m letting my team down. That flexibility contributes greatly to maintaining a healthy work–life balance. Finally, I deeply value the support of my team. Whenever I’m unsure how to approach something, they consistently go above and beyond to guide and teach me. Their willingness to share knowledge creates a collaborative and encouraging work environment. P.S we also have Meditation sessions! How cool is that?? :)
  • I do not think that I will ever leave this job because of how I am treated by upper management. It is like no other place that I have ever worked. It actually feels like a family and everyone's opinion is heard and matters which is rare.

First Stop Health has been recognized by Inc. lists numerous times, including as one of the fastest-growing private companies on the Inc. 5000 list for eight years in a row, from 2018 through 2025.
