How Virtual Urgent Care Works

How Virtual Urgent Care Works-featured-image

You wake up one morning and don’t feel yourself. You have the sniffles, feel achy and even have a bit of a fever. You think it could be the flu and want to get checked out by a doctor. So, what’s the game plan?

You could find a doctor’s office, schedule an appointment and call in sick to work. You’ll spend the day rescheduling things, battling traffic, filling out forms and waiting around for care. At the end of it all, you’ll have spent hours – if not days – trying to get what you need to feel better. And then you’ll get the bill.

Good news: There’s a better way. With First Stop Health Virtual Urgent Care, you can get care before you even get out of bed! It’s quick, painless and free to use.

How It Works.

Step 1: Request a visit on the mobile appwebsite or just call 888-691-7867. Available on-demand 24/7, urgent care providers treat health issues like cold, flu, rash, UTI, headache, fever and more.

Step 2: A provider will call you, in 5 minutes on average. Visits occur via phone or video.

Step 3: Your provider will listen to your symptoms, diagnose your issue and provide a treatment plan. (In the rare case your issue can’t be treated virtually, we’ll provide next steps.)

Step 4: If your provider writes you a prescription2, it will be sent to your pharmacy of choice.

Step 5: Head to the mobile app or website for provider's instructions, your sick note (if requested) and more. If you’d like, you can download a visit summary to share with your personal doctor.

1 A small minority of members may have a visit fee. Refer to your email from info@firststophealth.com.

2 Your medical plan’s prescription costs apply.
